Mary Alyce "Lisa" Carothers, 80 of Harmony, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. Born in Columbus, Georgia. In 1972 she moved from Jacksonville, FL. to become a longtime resident of Osceola County, FL. Lisa was a Presbyterian and loved the Lord. Lisa was a retired Dental Hygienist and active with the Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts over the years. When Lisa was young, she was a lifeguard and teaching many of her grandchildren how to swim gave her such pleasure. Lisa was an artist, she loved painting and music. She loved butterflies and collecting roosters and chickens. Her favorite color was purple. Lisa loved her family and friends unconditionally.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Carothers Helser of Harmony; sister, Judy Gautier (Tom) of Kyle, TX.; grandchildren, Joshua Tyler Irving (Lacey) of St. Cloud, FL., Bradley Christopher Weber of Huntington Beach, CA., Timothy Gene Helser of Venice, FL., Christopher Trevor Helser of Harmony, FL., Christopher Bennet Bedsole of Mobile, AL., Nell Ann Bloker of Mobile, AL., Shawn and Tommy Colpo of Delaware; step-grandchildren, Jaclyn Helser Dorsey (Nick) of Gainsville, FL. and Brianne Michelle Helser of Oviedo, FL.; a niece, Melinda Remore (Bob) of Cedar Park, TX.; nephew, Steven Gautier of San Antonio, TX. and two great nephews, Jeffrey and Phillip Remore of Cedar Park, TX.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Russell Carothers; parents, Edith Ann and Lloyd Bedsole; daughter, Deborah Ann Driver; sons, William Russell Carothers and Robert Christopher Carothers.
