Charles M. Folger, age 88, of Mahr Road in Waynesburg, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at his residence. Born Monday, July 22, 1929 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Clyde Marshall & Bessie Lou Tarter Folger. His loving wife whom he married March 13, 1954, was the late Rose M. Folger, who also preceded him in death March 13, 2017.

Charles was a US Army Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He worked, for many years, in the Tool & Die Industry and was a farmer. Charles was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion Post #60, and the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed fishing, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, and enjoyed helping his neighbors.

Charles leaves behind two sons, Timothy Allen Folger (Pamela Watters) and Kenneth Marshall Folger (Lisa C.) both of Waynesburg; five grandsons, Timothy James Folger, Travis Allen Folger, Todd Marshall Folger, Jeremiah Marshall Folger (Audrey Amanda), and Benjamin Lewis Folger all of Waynesburg; and five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Folger, Leah Alexandra Folger, Rachel Amalia Folger, Blake Parker Keeton Folger, and Hunter James Folger.

In addition to his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Folger and Frank Folger; and two sisters, Margaret Poynter and Francis Wall.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:30AM Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service. Burial, with Full Military Honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion, will take place 1:30PM Tuesday in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

The Visitation will be held 10AM-11:30AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
