He was preceded in death by his parents; and one uncle, Floyd Dailey.
Olen was a member of Centerfork Missionary Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Olen worked for many different banks and the FDIC. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, one son and daughter-in-law, one daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren, one sister-in-law, five cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 9, 2017 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Thaddeus H. Caraway V.F.W. Post #2278 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday afternoon.
