Born on May 5, 1891, in Hardin County, he was a son of Albert E. and Sarah E. Ferriman, the father a native of Clark County and the mother of Logan County. On Jan. 28, 1913, in Kenton he was married. His wife, Mrs. Bertha Ferriman, died on April 1, 1958 in Marion.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Kummerer of Richwood and Mrs. Donna Ruth Cotton of Edison; two sons, Elmer M. Ferriman of Johns St. in Marion and James E. Ferriman of Chicago Ave.; 11 grandchildren, and three brothers, Louis Ferriman of Bremerton, Wash., William Ferriman of Uncapher Ave. and Arthur Ferriman of Waterloo St.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Schaffner-Denzer Funeral home on E. Center St. The Rev. Paul Cros will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
