SELPH, Bernice Virginia Fisher, 92, of Sandston, entered Heaven's Gates on Monday, October 2, 2017. She was a member of Sandston Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 176, Sandston Women's Club and Windsor Club of Elko. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.P. "Bill" Selph; parents, Eustace and Evelyn Kahl Fisher; daughter, Diane S. Fowler; and brothers, Roy E. Fisher and Willie L. Fisher. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy S. Fowler; sister, Ruth F. Dowdy; grandchildren, David W. Fowler, Nathan S. Fowler and Keith S. Fowler; great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her nephew, William M. Fisher, was her caregiver at the time of her death. The family will receive friends Friday, October 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held Saturday, October 7, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
