Daughter of Peter and Mary Ann (Henderson) Coffin, born in Guilford Co North Carolina. The family moved from NC to Indiana couple of years then to Iowa 1856. She married David Ballard Denney 7 Dec 1859 in Appanoose. They are the parents of Hester, Mary E, Sarah E, Sylvester W, Florence, Franklin Marcus. I think she must be the second wife of David Ballard Denney, as Appanoose census in 1860 has three older girls in home, all born in Indiana, and if they got married 1859 in Appanoose ( have also seen a second marriage transcribed record of Dec 8 1860,) Lots of questions....
are there 2 David B Denney's with wives named Abigail same ages ?? Must look for other wife or if older kids are adopted from a Denny sibling ??
