Clinton Co cemetery database (2018) says, "B. 6-5-1890, D. 7-4-1985 Sabina OH, nee Kenney, husband William B. Lane (M. 5-21-1913 - divorced - M. 12-21-1935 Indiana); 2 married daughters - Mary Lane McClary and Mildred Lane Brewington; daughter of Robert S. and Nancy Esther (Nannie) Huff Kenney." The database does not mention Effie's 1942 marriage to Andrew Jackson Walker. In 1950, Effie was living in Xenia (see image on this memorial) and listed as married (as opposed to either widowed or divorced) but without her husband. Did the marriage end in divorce? Did she resume use of her first husband's name? Can we assume that, if she was not using the name Walker in 1950, it is probably not on her grave marker?
