Monique Lavett Delk, affectionately called “Mocha,” was born on November 5, 1970 in Sumter, South Carolina to Mose Delk, Jr. and Joyce Delk. Mocha departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family.
Mocha leaves to cherish her memory to three loving children, Caleb Delk Proctor, Ariel Delk Wilkins, and Autmn Delk; her parents, Mose (Joyce) Delk, Jr.; six siblings, Parrish Delk, Ryan Delk, Jamal Delk, Brandon Delk, Erika Delk Howell, and Olivia Delk all of Eastover, SC; six uncles, John (Mary) Wilson, Thaddeus Wilson, Donald Wilson, Mike (Patricia) Wilson, John (Kitty) Faden, and Eddie( Cheryl) Delk; three aunts, Ida Mae Wilson, Sandra (James) Pringle and Denise (Henry) Higgins; two grandchildren, Aubree Delk Wilkins and Malayiah Young; god-sister, Shatavia Thompson of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends all whom will miss her dearly.
