Vernon M. Peebles passed away peacefully, September 30, 2017 at his home in Cantonment, Fl at the age of 87. He served 4 years in the Army as an automotive mechanic during the Korean war. When he returned home, he worked at the St. Regis Bag Plant for 35 years and 5 years at the Stone Container Plant. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Vernon is survived by his wife of 64 years, Justine, son Rocky (Bonnie), twin sister Luverne Diamond, brothers Paul, Raymond (Glenie Ruth) and Paul Spender. Also granddaughters Brandie (Robert) Ratcliff and Kristy (Rusty) Hunt and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 10am - 11am at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by services at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
