Clarice LaVerne Joslin, 87, of Nacogdoches, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1930 in Sikes, Louisiana, to the late Rev. James Arnold Head and Nora Erskins Head.
Mrs. Joslin adored her family above everything. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, fishing, reading, and Willie Nelson.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances LaVerne Clamp; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte Dianne and William Kinney; several grandchildren and their spouses; 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Joslin was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James Arnold and Nora Head; and husband, Robert Lee Haddox.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, directors.
