Alice Louise Coburn passed away March 10, 2007. She was born Oct. 19, 1929 in Montour, Idaho to Parley and Nora Yergenson. She was raised Sweet, Idaho and later attended cosmetology school in Ketchum, Idaho. In 1950 Louise married Jay Coburn in Reno, Nev. They lived in Ola, Idaho for three years after which they moved to Yerington, Nev. where she raised her family and owned the Emporium Beauty Salon. In 1978 Louise and Jay moved to Winnemucca, Nev. where they were very involved in square dancing and Louise owned the Stitchin' Post fabric store. In 1988 Louise and Jay moved to Middleton, Idaho where she resided until her death. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; brother; and sister. She is survived by her children, Ladene Lucier (Russ Pierce), Clayton Coburn (Jackie), Sandra Bitters (Nolan) and Vance Coburn; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one niece; and her sister, Fay Powers of Middleton. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15 at 1 at the Middleton Ward LDS Chapel, 22500 Lansing Lane in Middleton. Friends may call to visit with the family from 12 until 12:45 at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Sweet Cemetery in Sweet, Idaho. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Susan B. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
