Edward F. Hartwick, 58, Lamoillc Rt. 1, died this morning at St. Francis Hospital, La Crosse, after a brief illness. He was born at Waumandce, Wis., April 19, 1903, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hartwick, lived in Arcadia, Wis., four years and in Lamoille 10 years. He had been farming near here I but previously was employed by a La Crosse manufacturing firm and prior to that was a tavern operator at Arcadia. He married the former Esther Lee in Winona April in 1953, and was a member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Winona. Survivors are: His wife; a brother, Oliver, Lamoille Rt. 1; two
sisters, Mrs. Rose Waters, Winona, and Mrs. Bill (Elfa) Fiedler, Bad Axe, Wis. Two brothers and a sister are dead. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Watkowski Funeral Home, Winona, and at 10 a.m. at Cathedral ol the Sacred Heart. The Very Rev. Msgr. Harold J. Dittman will officiate.
