DARLEANE DORIS MOSER, 85, of Harp Hill Road, Wolfsville, Md., passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her home. Born May 3, 1932, in Wolfsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Equilla Kline and Edna Ruth (Wolf) Kline.
She was a graduate of Middletown (Md.) High School. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Wolfsville. She was owner and operator of Darleane's Daycare for more than 50 years. Darleane loved and cared for all children as if they were her own.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Charles E. "Bud" Moser, whom she married Aug. 25, 1951; three daughters, Sharon Emmett, Debra Kelley, and Vicki Thomas one sister, Hilda Cartee; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Hatfield and Pauline Kline; six brothers, Merhl, Paul, Ralph, Gerald, Harold and Ray Kline; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia.
Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wolfsville. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg.
