Jimmy Holdiness

Jimmy Lamar Holdiness, age 71, died September 28, 2017, at his home in East Prairie, Missouri.

He was born January 3, 1946 in LaForge, Missouri, to the late Lamar and Lois Moss Holdiness; he was a self employed carpenter.

In 1984, he married Brenda Georgette Marshall Holdiness; she survives of the home.

He is also survived by two sons, Jimmy Holdiness (Brenda) of Immokalee, Florida and Lamar Holdiness (Darryl) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three daughters, Rhonda Nunez (Armando) of Immokalee, Florida, Angela Schreffler (Fred) of Tampa, Florida and Summer Dunker (Anthony) of Sikeston, Missouri; two brothers, Wayne Holdiness (Betty) of Wentzville, Missouri and Ronald Holdiness (Mary) of Port Charlotte, Florida; four sisters, Charlotte Tillery (John) of Troy, Missouri, Donna Dunman of St. Peters, Missouri, Anita Forster (John) of O'Fallon, Missouri and Deborah Reynolds (Jon) of St. Charles, Missouri; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Hogg, and one grandson, Justin Campos.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at First Assembly of God in East Prairie, Missouri, where funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 2, at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Ross Marshall will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
