“Mrs. Minerva Nowlin, 61 [sic] years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. W. Bradford, east of the city, Monday night at 9:45 o’clock of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Nowlin was born in Clinton, Ill., July 8, 1861 [sic]. She was married to Preston Nowlin and to this union three children were born, two surviving, John W. of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. A. W. Bradford of Chillicothe.
It was announced late this afternoon that funeral services would be held from the Bradford home Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock conducted by Rev. Roy C. Snodgrass, pastor of the First Christian Church. Interment will be made in the Jones Cemetery.” The Chillicothe Constitution, March 6, 1923
