He was a member, Deacon and song leader at Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Tim was a 1997 graduate of Hart County High School.

He was a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University and received his Master’s degree in 2005.

He worked as a physical education teacher at Memorial Elementary School.

Survivors:
His wife; one daughter: Emily Butler; one son: Brett Butler; one brother: Mark Anthony Butler; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Hank & Deborah Gibson; three nieces; four nephews; three aunts; two uncles; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Services:
Funeral services held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Rocky Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jason Dickey & Brother Malcolm Doyle officiating.
Sego Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
