GARLAND/LOGAN -Leslie Delbert Allen, 80, beloved husband father, grandfather, and brother died at the Logan Regional Hospital, July 7, 1996. Delbert recently resided in Logan. Prior to his move to Logan, Delbert resided in Garlard.

Delbert was born June 16, 1916, in Bothwell, to Leslie W. and Delia Deem Allen. He married Margaret Bell on November 15, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Delbert served an LDS mission in New Zealand. Shortly after returning from his mission, he entered the military service for the duraticn of World War II.

Delbert worked many years for Box Elder County and at the same time enjoyed the farming profession Delbert was a dediated hard working employee and committed to doing his best.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 1996, 11:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, with Bishop Clark P. Nielson officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
