Veronica was born on her family farm in Mt. Angel, Oregon to Mary and Bernard Duda. Ready for her next adventure, Veronica gently left this one at the age of 93.

Veronica's life was framed by her faith and her family. She knew the love of a good man, her one and only Lloyd. They welcomed eight children and built a home of hospitality, an endless supply of baked bread and cinnamon rolls and a place for everyone at the table. She loved color, beauty and fun-her back yard of flowers, her sewing projects, dancing at every wedding and her delight in her 15 grandkids and 16 great-grands.

Veronica graduated from Mt. Angel College and taught at Sublimity and Brooks Elementary for 25 years and loved it, mostly! She traveled the world and much of Oregon.

She loved God and her Catholic faith, raising her kids at St. Vincent de Paul where they all attended school: Susan, Louise-Gary Miller, Eileen-Thomas Berning, Thomas-Margo Reding, Joann-Ernie Pech, Annette-Douglas Thompson, Ruth and Beth. Her siblings: Sister Bernarda OSB, Mildred-Justin Bradley, Agnes-Gerald Zollner and Gabe Marsh, Walter and Lorraine, Clarence and Dell, and Bill and Beverly Duda. Her family included Joan and Art Jeffries, Harold and Frances and Ken and Barbara Payseno.

Contributions may be made to St. Edward's or Marion-Polk Food Share 1660 Industrial Dr. NE Salem, Or 97301.

Funeral Mass October 6th 2:00 p.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Keizer followed by a reception at the church hall. Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell.
