Miss Sallie B. Walshe, long time residence of Abilene, died at her residence at noon Thursday, following an illness of more than three years. She was 61 years old.
The funeral services will be held at 6 o'clock this evening at the Heavenly Rest Episcopal church with the rector, Rev. Gerhard officiating. Interment will be made in the family vault in the Masonic cemetery.
Miss Walshe was born in Galveston the daugher of Goerge Washe and Mrs Sallie HUnter Pendre Walshe. Her father was a pioneer Abilenian, having been in business here.
Miss Walshe is survived by four brothers: George Walshe of Brownwood, R. C. Walshe of El Paso, Stuart Walshe of Seattle, Washk and Ed P Walshe of Abilene and two sisters Mrs. Mary W. Brittain of San Francisco, Calif. and Mrs B. C. Leach of Abilene. Miss Walshe made her home here with Mr. and Mrs Leach. Other survivors are four nephews and nieces.
