MRS. ALICE HOBAN, 76, DEAD AT FROSTBURG
"Frostburg, MD., May 20--Mrs. Alice Hoban, 76, widow of John Hoban, died this morning after six weeks' illness at the home of her daughter Mrs. Chester Wilson, 73 Ormand street. Patrick, a son of Mrs. Hoban, died fourteen months ago yesterday. Mrs. Hoban was a native of Virginia. Her husband was killed in a wreck of the C.& P. Railroad on January 3, 1889. She had been living in Frostburg for the last 15 years. Four other children survive--Thomas Hoban, Cumberland; Michael, Smoke, PA.; and John, Frostburg, and Mrs. John Wilson, Frostburg. A sister, Mrs. Rebecca Workman, of Lonanconing, and a brother Isaac Sheriff of Sibley, Mo., also survive. Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Saturday morning."
