Alvin M. Mellum
Funeral services for Alvin M. Mellum, 51, of 6244 Carlton Ave. S., who died of a fatal heart attack while at work as a bakery checker, will be at 2 o’clock Wednesday in the Georgetown chapel. Burial will be in Washelli.
Mr. Mellum, a native of North Dakota, came to Seattle in 1952. He was a member of Local No. 227, Bakery Salesmen’s Union.
Surviving are his wife, Marion; his mother, Mrs. Marie Binde, and three sons, Ernest, Donald, and Melvin Mellum, all of Seattle; two brothers, Arnold Mellum, East Grand Forks, Minn., and Gehard Mellum, Marysville, N. D., and five sisters, Mrs. Amelia Samson, Finley, N. D.; Mrs. Myrtle Selmansen, East Grand Forks; Mrs. Cecile Murray, Richmond, Calif.; Mrs. Gladys Curtis, McMinnville, Ore., and Mrs. Clara Jacobson, Finley.
