Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Heritage Assembly of God with Rev. Jack Dial and Rev. Ron Barnard officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Hargrove's grandsons.
Mrs. Hargrove was born on Dec. 23, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Clarence and Alma Moore. She married the love of her life, Billy Joe Hargrove on April 5, 1948, in Vernon, Texas. Mrs. Hargrove was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was spending time and making wonderful memories with her family and friends. Mrs. Hargrove loved anything and everything related to sports, especially those involving the Rider Raiders Baseball Team. She was a faithful woman of God, and a life long member of the Assemblies of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Voncille Holden; brother-in-law, Dean Turner; and devoted nephew, Rusty Turner.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Hargrove; daughter, Yvonda Case and husband Roger; two sons, Gary Hargrove and wife Susie, and Kerry Hargrove and wife Becky all of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren, Rodney Case and wife Amy, Michelle Williams and husband Steven, Michael Hargrove, Randy Case and wife Cheryl, Jennifer Roberts, Chris Roberts, Chelsea Hargrove, Kyle Dorsey and wife Stephanie, and Kane Dorsey; six great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaleb, Caden, Caroline, Kyler, and Bryan; brother, Roy Moore and wife Lena; and two sisters, Betty Turner and Leota Belshe and husband Johnny.
The family would like to send their deepest thanks to Dr. Mike Mitchell and his staff, Jacki Burke and the staff of North Texas Home Health, United Regional, and Hospice of Wichita Falls.
