Ada M. Svoboda nee: Muzzarelli, age 94 of Highwood passed away peacefully Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. She was born January 23, 1923 in Fanno, Italy to the union of Joseph and Delma (Pellegrini) Muzzarelli and was brought to the United States at the age of four month where she has been a lifelong resident of Highwood. She graduated from the St. Therese School of Nursing, Waukegan in 1945 and on March 9, 1946 at St. James Church in Highwood she married Anton Svoboda, Jr.
Beloved wife of the late Anton Svoboda, Jr. on November 24, 1979. Loving mother of Anton Svoboda III of Highwood. Dear sister of the late Delma (late Sam) Volino and brother in law of the late Blanche (late John) Fanson, Sr. and the late Edwin (late Ann) Svoboda. Dear aunt of Nancy (Phillip) Castanet of Chicago, Linda Volino of Chicago, Kathy (Ray) Wicklander of Lake Forest, Cheryl Engel Ridder, Edwin Svoboda, Jr. of Mt. Vernon, IL, Jerry Svoboda of South Dakota, late Katie Fanson and John Fanson, Jr. of LaPorte, Indiana. Great aunt to many.
Visitation Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, to Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood mass 10:00 A.M. Rev. Thomas F. Baldonieri, celebrant. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery.
