Norma Jean Johnson, 83; of Donnellson, passed away
at 2:21 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Fort Madison
Community Hospital in Fort Madison, Iowa.
She was born November 25, 1933 in New Boston, Iowa
the daughter of Carl Henry and Goldie B. (Anthony)
Schiller. On February 3, 1951she married John Edward
Johnson in Keokuk, Iowa. He preceded her in death on
September 27, 2010
Survivors include one son: Randy Johnson of
Donnellson, Iowa; six daughters: Christy (Robert) Agren
of Orange Beach, Alabama, Cindy Johnson of Argyle,
Iowa, Kathy (Coe) Billman of Fort Madison, Iowa, Wendy
(Wendel) Walljasper of Donnellson, Iowa, Gayle (Jim)
Edwards of Washington, Iowa and Julie (LeRoy) Pilcher
of Donnellson, Iowa; ten grandchildren; twenty four great
grandchildren; one brother: Leroy (Clara) Schiller of
Tucson, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband:
John; one son: Douglas Van Johnson; one grandson:
Spencer Pilcher and one great grandson: Lane Weldon.
Norma worked at Shellor Globe for thirty five years
before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading
(especially Westerns) and raising her family.

1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Schmitz Funeral
Home in Donnellson, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday,
June 11, 2017 at the Schmitz Funeral Home in
Donnellson with Father Dennis Hoffman officiating.
Burial will be at the Charleston Cemetery, rural
Charleston, Iowa.
