OBITUARY: Waterloo Courier, Waterloo IA, 18 Dec 1991

Margaret L. Trent, 81, of 3885 W. Fourth St., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 7, 1910, in Jesup, daughter of Robert and Mary Nissen Bailey. She married Ralph S. Trent on March 7, 1928, in Waterloo. He died in 1968.

Survivors include a daughter, Roseann Hooper of Marshalltown; three sons, Vernon of Washburn, twins Ray of San Antonio, Texas, and Roy of Indianola; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a foster brother, Robert Glen Bailey of Mesa, Ariz.; she was preceded in death by a son, Eugene.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and an hour before services Friday at the church. Memorials may be given to the church.
