Gatton - Died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1909, at the home of his parents, William H. Gatton, at the age of 6 years, 6 months and 5 days.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gatton of Auburn.

He had been sick for a long time, but had been heroic in enduring his suffering.

He became a great favorite with relatives and neighbors and was beloved by everyone in the community where he lived.

His death, therefore, caused widespread and most sincere sorrow.

He is survived by his parents; two brother, Alec [sic] and Paul; and three sisters, Hazel, Ellen and Gertrude.

The funeral was held at the home of his parents, .

Interment was at the Sugar Creek Catholic cemetery at Glenarm.
