Wane Robert Mitchell, better known as Robbie to his family and friends, left us suddenly to see his dad, grandfather and all his many ancestors that he had found doing his favoite past time geneology research. He had a thousand questions he was going to ask all of them.

Robbie was born September 13, 1976, to William Robert Mitchell and Barbara Sue Mitchell in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Robbie is survived by his mother and his two older sisters, Jenifer Elaine and Jane Elizabeth and his two nieces Autumn Elizabeth and Ellie Rose. The family moved to just outside of Mannford, Ok when Robbie was seven months old. He went to Mannford Schools until he was in the 8th grade when he transferred to Olive High School. When Robbie turned 16 he want to work for Sonic in Mannford and used his money to buy his first car, a maroon Pontiac Trans-am. When he was 18 he left Sonic to work for Pizza Hut to make pizza dough.

When his niece, Autumn, was born Robbie became one of her caregivers so that his sister, Jane, could go to college and work. He became his father's caregiver in 2002, when his dad began his slow decline with dementia. He cared for him for 5 years. He then became a care giver for his mother after she had a heart attack and needed assistance and someone to live with her so she felt safe and secure.
His past times included gardening, computer games and caring for his pugs, Snuggles, who pre-deceased him and Maxwell who he loved devotedly. He was a Green Bay Packers fan and a history buff. And we found from his facebook page that he had helped a lot of people with their genealogy research and they will miss his knowledge and friendship. Virginia Mylius, a friend said, " he was a lovely lovely man and always listened to what others had to share.

Robbie was going to give all of his organs for transplant to help others but his heart gave out before all the medical teams were in place and the only part that they could use was his corneas.

Robbie's mother, his sisters, his nieces and his friends will miss his dry sense of humor and his wonderful mass of curls and his scraggly beard.
