CHATFIELD, Minn. —Adolph Anderson, 73, retired insurance agent, died early Tuesday evening at Methodist Hospital, Rochester, where he was a patient two days. He was born at Root Prairie, rural ChatfieM, Nov. 28, 1892, to John and Anna Solie Anderson. He moved to Chatiield in 1925, started an insurance agency in 1929 and operated it until his retirement in 1959. He married Leda Anderson April 20,1921, and she died May 1, 1923. On Feb. 23, 1927, he married Agnes SchultZi Preston, who died Jan. 23, 1963. He married Sophie Linnemeyer July 28, 1963. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War I service in the Army and was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors are: His wife; three sons, Lt. Commander John Anderson, Sain Diego, Calif., and Harry and Henry Anderson, Chatfield; two daughters, Mrs. Arden (Harriet) Erickson, Chatfield, and Mrs. Verdon (Karleen) Flattum, Santa Ana. Calif.; nine grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Jr O. (Alma) Tangan, Mrs. Osmer (Emily) Rain and Mrs, Elie (Lottie) Asleson, Chatfield, and Mrs. Alvin (Mabel) Anderson^ Fountain. One son, one daughter, one brother and one sister also have died.;. ; ., _ ¦ Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pra. at Boetzer-Akeson Funeral Home, the Rev.
