Ellie is survived by her son, Ralph Lillico, and her beloved granddaughters, Sabrina Lillico and Gabriella Lillico, nephews Chuck West, Bob Stalnaker, Roger Stalnaker, Lyle Russell Stalnaker, and nieces Erin Elizabeth “Betsy” Hunter (Stalnaker) and Cathy Seaman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland Ralph Stalnaker and Lenora Boggs Stalnaker, and siblings John Stalnaker, Ralph Marvin Stalnaker, Lyle “Buck” Stalnaker, Mary Helen “Jake” James (Stalnaker) and Winifred “Dickie” Vieth (Stalnaker).
Ellie was born on April 7, 1934 in Orton, WV. She graduated from Normantown High School in 1951. She lived for many years in Elyria, OH, where she was active in the lay ministry of her church and worked as a bookkeeper for the Elyria Family YMCA, then as a secretary for Legal Aid Society of Lorain County. She retired in 2008 and moved to Grove City, OH in 2009 to be closer to her granddaughters. Ellie enjoyed reading, birdwatching, knitting, listening to classical music, and spending time with her beloved granddaughters. She led a Bible study at Grovewood Place, where she lived up until her stroke.
Friends may visit Tuesday September 26, 2017 at THE SPENCE MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, OH 43123. Internment will be 11:00 on Friday September 29, 2017 at Boggs Cemetery, Normantown, WV.
