William Jon "Bill" Noah, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at RiverView Hospital in Crookston, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Bill faced each challenge with his signature sense of humor and expressed love of family.

Bill was born on August 29, 1960 at St. Francis Hospital, in Crookston, to parents Thomas James "Jim" and Lois (Klick) Noah. He was a 1978 graduate of Mount St. Benedict High School and a member of the Blue Wave hockey team. On April 8, 1983, Bill was united in marriage to Diane Gail Pederson at the Cathedral in Crookston. Bill was a proud and loving parent to their two children, Joshua and Christine.

Bill was employed as a cook at Villa St. Vincent until he resigned in February due to his health issues. Bill made many good friends at the Villa and was very appreciative of the benefit the staff held for him in his honor.

Bill was an avid Viking, Wild, and Sioux hockey fan. He enjoyed following his son's hockey games and more recently watching his grandson Parker play hockey. Bill also enjoyed golfing with family and friends. Bill will be remembered for his contagious smile, sense of humor and his big heart.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane Noah; son Joshua Noah of Crookston, much treasured grandson Parker Noah of Bemidji and his daughter Christine Johnson and son-in-law, Eric Johnson of Fertile.

He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Karen (Jim) Broekemeier, Tom (Terri) Noah, Jim (Shannon) Noah of Crookston, Dan (Janet) Noah of Riverview, Florida, Susan Noah (Erik Harms) of Eagan, and Kathy (Marty) Duchscher of Silver Bay. Bill also leaves behind many great lifetime friends, nieces, nephews and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lois. His family was Bill's greatest joy.

Bill's family would like to thank all those who have supported him on his cancer journey the past eight months.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at the Crookston Eagles on Wednesday, September 27 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Blessed be Bill's memory.
