Michael Ray Dunaway, the son of Walter and Billie Katherine Davis Dunaway was born in Wolf County, Kentucky on July 9, 1963 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on March 24, 2017 at the age of 53 years, 8 months, and 15 days. He attended The Beattyville Church of The Nazarene, was retired water plant operator, loved fishing and Ginseng hunting.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Sue Ellen Cornett and husband Jeff and Christine Jewell; two granddaughters, Mia and Addison Cornett, all of Beattyville, Kentucky; three brothers, Virgil and wife Janet of Beattyville, Doug and wife Suzy of Morrow, Ohio, Corbett and wife Debbie of Beattyville; a special brother-in-law Donald “Carlo” Napier of Beattyville; three sisters, Linda Thacker of Lexington, Kentucky, Teresa and husband Ronnie Napier of Beattyville, Audrey and Fiancé Ray Mckinney of Beattyville; four special friends, Jason Wilson, Junior Smallwood, Earl and Sherry Profitt; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Walter and a special sister Debbie Napier, paternal grandparents Ewen and Mary Francis Dunaway, maternal grandparents Corbett and Ruth Davis, and two special nephews Brandon Napier and Chris Stepp.
