(1903-1995)

Hazel Frances Stacy, 91, of Vanceburg (Ky.) Health Care Center, died Tuesday, March 14, 1995, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born June 7, 1903, in Stricklett, Ky., a daughter of the late John Cooper and Leona Thurman Cooper, she was of the Christian faith.

Preceded in death by her husband, Arnie Leonard Stacy, in October 1935, she is survived by a son, Leonard Stacy of Portsmouth; a daughter, Doris Stacy of Vanceburg; a sister, Verna Fearin of Brooksville, Ky.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by two sons, Hobert and Huburt Stacy; a brother, Robert Cooper; and two sisters, Flora Thomas and Jessie Stacy.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. Buford Cooper officiating, and interment in Stamm Cemetery at Indian Creek, Ky.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until the services Friday.
