Ella Brain (Birdie) Kelly died September 12, 1994 at age 94.
Born August 4, 1900 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Joseph V. and Ella Romney Brain. She was the last sibling to survive. Married Elmer E. Kelly September 8, 1923. He preceded in death January 28, 1989.
She served on the boards of Kelly Co., the Romney Corp. and YMCA. Affiliated with Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
Active throughout her life, she participated in racketball, snowshoeing, swimming, golfing and bowling. Her hobbies included needlework and china painting.
Volunteer worker for the USO.
Survivors: son, Robert E. Kelly and wife, Gerry; two granddaughters, Judy Anderson and her children, Lisa, Eric, Heidi and Loni; Kathy Zarbock (John) and their children, Sarajane, Kellie, Johnny and Amy.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 1994, 5 p.m, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
