"George "Jerry" Heilman, 79, of Shelbyville, died on Saturday, the 16th day of September, 2017, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George and Helen Linfoot Heilman. He served in the U. S. Army from 1956 until 1959, and was the owner and operator of Heilman TV. His memberships included Solomon Lodge No. 5 of Free and Accepted Masons.

His survivors include his sons, Paul Darren Heilman of Frankfort, and Jerry Bryan Heilman and his wife, Shawn Lee Heilman of Shelbyville; his granddaughter, Rachel Lee Heilman of Shelbyville; and his brother, David Heilman and his wife, Wanda, of Louisville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, the 20th day of September, 2017, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.

Interment will be in the Dutch Tract Church Cemetery in Pleasureville, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, 19 September 2017, with Masonic Rites at 7:00 P.M., and after 9:00 A.M., Wednesday, 20 September 2017, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Masonic Home Chapel, in care of Reverend Jesse Baxter, 711 Frankfort Road, Shelbyville, Kentucky 40065, or to the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40206."
