Bryce H. "Arguijo" Mushrush-Barrett

Bryce Holden Mushrush-Barrett, born January 18, 1993 in Mesa, Arizona, passed away suddenly, July 24, 2017 in Tucson Arizona. He attended Mesa High School, where he graduated from in 2011. During high school, Bryce lettered wrestling team and won his first wrestling match by a pin and also played the trumpet in the school band. He then went on to Brookline College in Tucson to earn his degree in Business; he was due to graduate this November. Bryce was a loving father to his daughter Destiny; he had a big heart and was kind and “loyal – to a fault”. He enjoyed many things in life from the Dallas Cowboys to various board games such as, Ticket to Ride and Risk, and his all-time favorite was playing UNO with his mother. He enjoyed being outdoors, shooting, camping and barbequing, as well as listening to various styles of music such as Pink Floyd, Josh Groban and Rascal Flatts; he was also a “movie-holic” and would enjoy watching the earlier classic movies with his dad. Bryce was preceded in death by his grandparents Roger and Bertha Anderson and is survived by his parents, Wendy and Manuel “Manny” Arguijo; his daughter, whom he cherished, Destiny Marie Mushrush-Barrett; mother of Destiny Marie, Stephanie Simpson; brothers, Michael Barrett and Shawn (Staci) Barrett; sisters, Brittany Mushrush-Barrett, Racheal Mugford and Kristin Lamarre; grandparents Darla Cheves, Valerie and Grant Mushrush and Chris and Ginger Kastanias; nephews, Liam Arguijo, Levi Arguijo and James Mugford; nieces Averi Mushrush-Jay and Leila Lamarre, as well as many friends who loved him. He will be truly missed. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3025 S Hawes Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bryce’s name to the: Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona, 3033A 7th Ave #104, Phoenix, AZ 85013 or online at: https://epilepsyaz.org/give
