She passed away at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Paul A. and Agnes M. Henley (nee Collien). She was preceded in death by her sons Milton L. Huntley and Gary C. Huntley, and by her sister Estelle (the late Sam) Spounias. She will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren, her four great grandchildren, her brother David P. Henley, and her nieces and nephews. She earned Bachelor and Masters degrees from Wayne State University and Madonna University. She had taught for thirty years in the Taylor School System. Published in the Detroit Free Press on 09-17-2017. Her graveside memorial was held, and her ashes were interred on 10-27-2017, alongside her mother, Agnes Henley.
