LA PORTE -- Services for Roy L. Conrad, 68, of 1809 Ohio St., who died at 12:31 a.m. Sunday in his home after an illness, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Haverstock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
Mr. Conrad was a retired farmer. He was born July 23, 1919, in La Crosse. On July 9, 1943, in La Porte, he married Alice Marks. She survives with a daughter, Jayne Harding of Fredericksburg, Va.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Lee and Ethel Bartleson, both of La Porte; and his mother, May Conrad of La Porte. He was a member of the La Porte County Farm Bureau.
