Margaret L. Arnold, 98, of Bourbonnais, passed away Saturday (Nov. 2, 2013) at ManorCare Health Services in Kankakee. Private graveside services will be held. Memorials may be made to the care and treatment of pediatric oncology patients. Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Arnold was a grocery store owner, barbecue stand owner and antique dealer. She was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of William and Margaret Goyer Curtis. Her husband, Paul Arnold, whom she married Nov. 29, 1933, in Montrose, Pa., passed away in 1999.
Surviving are one daughter, Margaret (Claude) Bazile, of Bourbonnais; 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Marilyn Zartler.
