Louise G. Barrieau, 91, widow of Joseph M. Barrieau, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Born in Adairsville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Eula Belle Davis Gulledge.
Nana was a warm loving mother and grandmother who took her love of growing tomatoes seriously.
Surviving are daughters, Yvonne Young and husband, Victor, of Greenville and Beverly J. McBain and husband, Fred, of Summerville; daughter-in-law, Janice Barrieau, of Greenville; six grandchildren, Brian, Sharon, Kevin, Michael Damon, Matthew and Brandon; seven great grandchildren. She was the fourth oldest of eleven children. Mrs. Barrieau was preceded in death by son, Michael Barrieau.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680 or the Alzheimer's Association, Upstate SC Chapter, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
