Bo retired from the NASA manned space program after contributing to the Jupiter, Redstone/Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Space Shuttle and Space Station programs.
Bo was born in Anniston, AL, graduated from High School in Oxford, AL. Bo served for four years in the United States Air Force. He graduated from the University of Alabama as a mechanical engineer in 1956.
Bo was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Bunker Corn last year.
He is survived by three children, Carol Charvet and her husband Ben, David Corn, and Karen Shaw, along with seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., September 23, 2017 at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville.
