Enlisted: Pvt., Co. E, 15th North Carolina Infantry. Age 28 years. Company Muster Rolls: Nov. & Dec. 1862 absent sick in hospital. Jan. & Feb. 1863 Absent sent to hospital Aug. 15, 1862. Chimborazo Hospital No. 3, Richmond, Va.. Died Oct. 5, 1862 from Typhoid Fever. His widow Elvira Annie Peed filed claims March 12, 1863. He left behind two children.
