Funeral services are scheduled Monday for Earl S. Headley, 45, of Grantsville, who died Thursday from injuries sustained in Wirt County. Headley's vehicle reportedly struck a telephone pole at Two Ripple near Elizabeth, according to local authorities.
He was employed by J & J Timber Company of Cairo and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with the Rev. Robert Nicholas officiating. Burial will be in the McCray Cemetery at Creston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by his mother Zelda Bell Headley of Grantsville; brothers Delbert of McFarland and Albert of Smithville. Sisters, Sophia Bacorn of Hazelgreen and Ruth Barritt of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Headley and a sister, Louise Headley.
