ASHBURN, James D. Infant son of Jamie D. & Sherry (Otto) Ashburn of Tipp City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 8, 2007. He was born December 9, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. James is survived by his parents, his twin brother, Jacob Ashburn, his sister, Megan Ashburn and older brother, Alec Keener; maternal grandparents, Bill & Sandy Otto of Tipp City; paternal grandparents, Jim & Linda Ashburn of Tipp City; maternal great-grandmothers, Margaret Kowalski and Eileen Kelley; aunts & uncles, Jim & Missy Lokai; Melissa Steele, and Mike & Julie Otto and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 12, at the First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 140 Elva Ct., with Pastor Wayne Monroe officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Sudden Infant Death Network of Ohio, 421 Graham Rd., Ste. H, Newark, OH 44221. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
