KAUFMAN RITES FOR H.M. DANIEL
Funeral services for H. M. Daniel, 73, a resident of Kaufman county for more than a half century, were to be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the First Methodist church in Kaufman, with Rev. Harold Taylor, pastor officiating, interment was to be in the Kaufman cemetery
Pallbearers were nephews and arrangements were in charge of the Allen Dees Funeral Home in Kaufman.

Mr. Daniel died at 10:55 p.m. Monday at his home, 903 South Houston Street in Kaufman.
A native of Saulsbury, Tenn. Mr. Daniel was born on February 25, 1884, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Daniel. He came to Texas and settled in the Becker community in Kaufman county about 1900. For many years he was prominent in the affairs of Kaufman county and served some time as Democratic chairman of the South Kaufman Precinct.

He had been a member of the Methodist Church for many years and served on the board of Stewards. He was a member of the Men's Bible class of his church and attended regularly until his recent illness. He was also a member of Kaufman IOOF Lodge No. 127.

On Jan. 19, 1910 he was married to Fannie Fogleman.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Herman Hensley, Kaufman, Mrs. Tracy Medden, New Orleans, LA, two sons, Frank Daniel, McKinney, and Billy Daniel, Dallas, eight grandchildren, one brother, E. M. Daniel, Tyler, two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Davidson, Ripley, MS and Mrs.E. D. McAllister, New Albany, MS. He was a brother-in-law- of Marvin Fogleman of Terrell.
