Architectural Counciler Was With Paint Firm Here.
Henry T. Letson, 74 years old, an architectural counciler, died last night at his home, 810 West Forty-fifth street.
Mr. Letson had served the last twenty years as architectural counciler for the Cook Paint & Varnish Company. He spent his time advising salesmen and architects on paints to be used on various jobs. He also conducted many short-session schools on the subject.
Prior to joining the paint firm, he had been a painting contractor here for more than twenty years. As a contractor he had painted many structures here including the Nelson Gallery of Art and the Atkins Museum.
Mr. Letson was born in Tuscaloosa, County, Alabama, and had lived here more than forty years. He was a member of the Painter's local union No. 9 A. F. L.
Mr. Letson leaves his wife, Mrs. Bernice V. Letson of the home.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Monday at the Wagner chapel.
