Married to Dorothy M. (Burdsall) Workman Murdock on February 23, 1936. Father of Gerald Dean, Nancy Darlene, Sandra Kay, and Dr. Larry Lee Murdock.

*NOTE: David Wayne Murdock was the son of Joy Modene Murdock. He was the grandson of Noel Winston Murdock and his first wife, Waneta.

OBITUARY:

Services for Winston Murdock, 66, 649 Second St. N.W., Linton, who died at 2 p.m. Friday at the Greene County General Hospital, will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Richard Lewis will officiate. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where Masonic memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. He was a retired milk deliverer for Johnson's, where he had worked for 45 years; on city council for three terms; a mayor of Linton from 1954 to 1955; Elks Lodge; Masonic Lodge 560 F&AM; and a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are the wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Mrs. Joy Pruett, Mrs. Sandra Burns, both of Indianapolis, Mrs. Nancy Headley, Lebanon; four sons, Don Workman, Trinton, Mich., Gerald Murdock, Worthington, Larry, Lafayette, David, Linton; one brother, Wilford, Goshen, Ind.; one sister, Wanda Klemm, McKinney, Texas; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
