Obituary:
PIEDMONT - Services for Sarah Burns, 88, of Piedmont will be today at 2 p.m. at Mickelsen-McGee Funeral Home with Gary Batson officiating.

Burial will be in Rabbittown Cemetery.

Mrs. Burns died Monday.

Survivors include two daughters, Blanche Warren and Hazel Coppock, both of Piedmont; three sons, Cecil Burns, Carl David Burns and Marshall Burns, all of Piedmont; five sisters, Ruby Lee Grimes, Pelham Hunt, Lillian Benefield and Jimmie Grimes, all of Piedmont and Addie Hunt; eight grandchildren, Rayford Ivey, Suzie Studdard, Gayle Williamson, Wanda Smith, Wayne Coppock, Kevin Coppock, Marilyn Hudson and Gathan Burns; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gathan Burns, Rayford Ivey, Kevin Coppock, Ken Hudson, Jeff Smith and Todd Matthew.

Mrs. Burns was a member of White Plains Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Burns, and a daughter, Maylene Headrick.
