Note: No death or burial record has been found for Elizabeth, but she is likely buried with her first husband, the father of her eight children, in the Pentucket Cemetery in Haverhill, where later generations of the family were interred.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Sgt Robert Ayers and Elizabeth Palmer of Haverhill, Mass. She m. (1) Haverhill 22 Feb 1676 [1675/6?] John CLEMENTS, the son of Robert Clements and Elizabeth Fawne of Haverhill. Following John's death, she m. (2) in Haverhill 8 March 1696/7 the widower Samuel Watts. Samuel's first wife, whom he married 28 Oct 1684, was a first cousin of his second wife, and also named Elizabeth Ayer. She was b. Haverhill 23 Dec 1659, the daughter of Thomas Ayer, who was a brother to Robert Ayers mentioned above, both being sons of the immigrant, John Ayer(s).

The subject Elizabeth had eight children with her first husband, all born in Haverhill from 1677 to 1692.
