J. Leland Wright, 79, passed away Dec. 30, at Akron City Hospital, after a short illness. He was born in Harbor Springs, Mich., and lived in the Akron area for 40 years. Mr. Wright was employed by the F.A.A. for 25 years as an electronic technician, retiring in 1973. He was a member and elder of the North Springfield Presbyterian Church, and a member of Charlotte Lodge No. 120 F&AM in Charlotte, Mich.

Preceded in death by wife, Millie, in 1978; and sister, Elaine Kinnish in 1979; he is survived by wife, June; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Lisa of Akron; four grandchildren; brother, Wilford of Battle Creek, Mich.

Funeral services Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Northfield Springfield Presbyterian Church, 671 Canton Rd., Akron, Rev. Sue Ann Looft officiating. Burial Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron. Memorials may be made to the North Springfield Presbyterian Church.
