Ellen Marie Garey, 92, of Mill City died Thursday at Hospice of Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Garey.
She was born in Falls, Pa., on March 8, 1925, daughter of the late John and Theresa VanAucken Blachek.
She is survived by her son, Robert and wife, Sandra, of Mill City; daughter, Carol and husband, Spencer Jonas, of Falls; brother, John Blachek and wife, Rose, of Montrose; sister, Freda Reynolds and husband, "Butch," of Lake Winola; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, William, and sister, Catherine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Lake Winola. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.
A viewing for friends and family will be held at the church from 10 until the time of the Mass.
